Be accurate and useful

Share information you reasonably believe is current and accurate. Identify the location clearly, include an official source when available, and correct or remove a report when you learn it is wrong or outdated. Never mark a road legal merely because someone has driven on it.

Report safely

Do not use the service while operating a vehicle. Do not trespass, stop in traffic, create a hazard, or enter a restricted area to record a route or take a photo. Immediate hazards and emergencies belong with 911 or the responsible local authority, not only in a RevvRoutes report.

Respect privacy

Do not post home addresses, precise private-property locations, license plates, faces, names, phone numbers, account credentials, financial information, or another person’s location without a lawful and necessary reason and their permission. Do not use the service to track, threaten, or harass anyone.

Respect rights and the community

Post only content you have the right to share. Do not submit unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, spam, infringing, or malicious content. Do not impersonate another person, manipulate votes, create fake incidents, or promote illegal vehicle operation.

Photos and route recordings

Photos should focus on the road condition, sign, or relevant object rather than identifiable people. Route recordings must avoid private property and sensitive locations when public disclosure could create risk. Location permission does not grant permission to enter or record property.

Moderation and appeals

RevvRoutes may label, limit, remove, preserve, or refer content when reasonably needed for safety, accuracy, legal compliance, or enforcement. Repeat or serious violations may lead to account restrictions. A user may ask for a moderation decision to be reviewed through the Contact page.
